A message from Brother Robert Seeling
To the brothers of Beta Pentaton
Thanks for the summary of the Phi Sig Homecoming events in early October. It’s a solid lineup of fun and business for the Brotherhood. Wish I could be there to participate, but my wife and I after 26 years living in Wilmington NC will be moving to a Retirement Home in Winston-Salem NC the first full week in October. It’s time for us to downsize from our home to something where we don’t have all the issues and costs of home ownership in a 4,200 sq. ft. home. We will be in a much smaller apartment that offers all meals in a nice dining room where we do not have to figure out what we want to eat, cook it, and clean-up afterwards everyday. They also offer a full range of activities for seniors like us (age 83) that will allow us to meet and make new friends. It is only 15 minutes from our daughter’s home where she and her husband live and both recently retired and want to spend more time with us as opposed to be four hours apart. I am using a walker for mobility and prevent falls and my wife is living with dementia and the presence of our daughter and one of our grandchildren and her husband and two great grandchildren will only be an hour away for more visits which is calming for her.
Please share this information with the brothers and let them know besides my wedding day and birth of daughter and son and their children and grandchildren, being a founding member (#1) of Beta Pentaton and moving us from a colony at ESSC to a chapter of Phi Sigma Kappa as President, and then purchasing 91Analominck St. property as our chapter house and living with 24 brothers for my senior year was an absolute high experience in my life and I will always be thankful for it!!!
Best wishes to ALL brothers who were damn proud to be a Phi Sig over the years for good health and happiness for the years ahead.
